Artlink Hull
Join us next weekend for a FREE zine workshop run by Hull based cartoonist, Sean Azzopardi!
Participants will be able to create and take away their own self published comic, and in the spirit of independent comics, copies of other workshop participants comics.
Sean says of the session: “The overall theme is to look at issues surrounding oceans, marine wildlife and the threat of pollution. This is a large and complex subject and would be difficult to cover in one workshop, so I intended to ask participants I to explore these issues through a personal point of view. On a local level Hull has a rich maritime history that continues today. Participants may have actual experience of working on The Humber, or family members with stories and memories to draw on. I encourage people to bring along any material that they think may help in the making of the zine.”
